Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3 large bananas, mashed
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
How to Make Banana Cake
In a mixing bowl, cream shortening with sugar. Add eggs one by one, and beat well. The flour should be sifted with salt and soda. Add the flour mixture slowly, beating well. Add bananas and nuts. Bake for 30 minutes at 350′. Makes 2 (8-inch) layers.
