My friend used a couple of cookie sheets to place her oreo penguins on to dry and another friend used an ungreased cookie sheet for her shortbread cookies.
We just used a plate to set them on after they came out of the dark chocolate.

In order to temper chocolate, slowly heat it while stirring it. It will be difficult to properly melt if you do not temper the chocolate properly. In the microwave, you can easily and quickly temper chocolate. In the microwave, heat the chocolate in 30 second intervals using a medium bowl.
How to Make Penguin Cookies
#1 – To begin, dip your peanut butter cookie into the melted chocolate.
#2 – The next step in this blog post is to place a white chocolate wafer in the center of the adorable penguin cookies.
Isn’t this white chocolate wafer penguin body tummy so cute? I can never look at white candy melts the same way again after this. This is just too cute!
